We launched namegamery.com with information about the app, a blog with tips on remembering names, and a signup for launch notifications. The app itself is still in development, but we wanted to start sharing what we're building.
Finished an early prototype of the spaced repetition scheduling engine. It adapts review intervals based on how easily you recall each name. Early testing shows significant improvement in recall rates after just 3-4 review sessions.
Started work on the location awareness feature. The idea is simple: when you return to a place where you've met people, you get a gentle heads-up with their names and how you know them. Privacy-first design means all location data stays on your device.
Name Gamery development has officially started. The core idea: an app that helps you remember names through spaced repetition, photo association, quick games, and location context. We're building for iOS first, with Android to follow.
